The Job: Analyst, Business Process
We’re looking for an Analyst, Business Process to support process documentation and operational consistency across the organization. This role will work closely with stakeholders to capture workflows, develop process maps and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and help ensure documentation remains clear, accurate, and accessible as processes evolve.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is interested in business operations, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
What You’ll Do
Stakeholder Coordination & Information Gathering
- Coordinate meetings and interviews with stakeholders to gather information on business processes and workflows
- Build collaborative relationships across teams to support documentation efforts
- Act as a point of contact for follow-ups and process clarification
Process Documentation & Mapping
- Assist in documenting current-state processes using process maps, flowcharts, and written narratives
- Translate stakeholder input into clear, structured documentation
- Capture process steps, decision points, roles, and system interactions accurately
SOP Development & Documentation Management
- Support the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and related materials
- Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with business standards
- Maintain organized documentation repositories with proper version control and accessibility
Process Review & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with process reviews to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
- Update documentation to reflect process changes and enhancements
- Help maintain accuracy and relevance of operational materials over time
Change Management & Communication Support
- Support communication and awareness efforts related to updated processes and documentation
- Partner with Change Management and business teams to encourage process adoption
- Help ensure documentation is user-friendly and easily accessible
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to translate information into clear, concise documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with curiosity and willingness to ask questions
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Basic understanding of process mapping concepts or willingness to learn
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education + Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in operations, administration, or business support roles
- Exposure to documenting processes or workflows in academic or professional settings is preferred
- Experience in Financial Services, Consulting, or Retail is an asset but not required
