Lead a backend and cloud platform engineering team responsible for Node.js/NestJS services on AWS. Own APIs, event-driven processing, file ingestion, data synchronization, CI/CD, infrastructure, observability, incident response, and production operations. Drive vendor-to-internal support transition through knowledge transfer, runbooks, on-call practices, and operational readiness. Mentor engineers, prioritize work, conduct technical reviews, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve system reliability, security, and recoverability.

Configure, test, release, and support decision-platform rules, workflows, integrations, and application journeys. Translate business requirements and data into scalable customer decision solutions, collaborating with Risk, Product, Technology, Operations, and Data teams. Supports business process transformation by analyzing current-state workflows, identifying inefficiencies, documenting process maps and SOPs, facilitating stakeholder workshops, tracking performance metrics, and implementing optimized processes. The role contributes to continuous improvement, change adoption, data analysis, and exploration of automation technologies such as RPA. It requires cross-functional collaboration, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and process mapping.

Supports the enterprise risk management program by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting enterprise-wide risks. Maintains risk registers, assessments, controls documentation, and dashboards; analyzes KRIs and emerging risks; coordinates risk workshops; prepares leadership and Board reporting; monitors remediation plans; and contributes to business continuity, operational resilience, regulatory, audit, compliance, and risk framework initiatives.

Lead backend and cloud platform engineering for an AWS-based integration platform. Responsibilities include developing Node.js APIs, event-driven Kafka services, Redis caching, file ingestion and data synchronization pipelines, infrastructure management with Terraform, CI/CD, observability, incident response, and reliability improvements. The role also leads an engineering team, mentors developers, coordinates vendor knowledge transfer, creates operational runbooks, and transitions production support to an internal team.

Execute and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels. Build, QA, schedule, and deploy campaigns and automated journeys; define audiences and personalization; run A/B tests; analyze performance and recommend optimizations; coordinate assets and stakeholders while ensuring brand and regulatory compliance.

Owns strategy and performance for Money Mart's fee-based products (cheque cashing, money transfers, FX). Combines short-term commercial optimization with long-term modernization: pricing, customer journeys, partnerships, fintech integrations, roadmaps, business cases, and cross-functional delivery to grow revenue and digitize omnichannel experiences.

The Manager, Fraud Strategy will develop and implement fraud prevention strategies using analytics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead projects to mitigate fraud risks.
