About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Large Language Models (LLMs) to lead our Machine Learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will manage a team of talented data scientists and engineers, owning the end-to-end AI/ML portfolio of the organization. This role requires not only strong technical proficiency but also proven team leadership and project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
•
AI/ML Strategy & Leadership
o
Define and execute the organization's AI/ML strategy and roadmap.
o
Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
o
Ensure best practices for model development, deployment, and scalability.
•
Technical Ownership
o
Architect and implement advanced machine learning solutions, especially around transformer-based architectures.
o
Build and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for various business use cases.
o
Develop and optimize RAG pipelines for production-ready applications.
o
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, and Data) to translate business requirements into AI-driven solutions.
•
Innovation & Research
o
Stay updated with cutting-edge AI research and integrate relevant advancements into the company’s solutions.
o
Explore and deploy frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, PyTorch, and other modern ML toolkits.
•
End-to-End Delivery
o
Oversee the entire lifecycle of ML models—from problem framing, data preparation, and model training to deployment and performance monitoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications
•
Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
•
Strong expertise in Generative AI, RAG, and LLM fine-tuning.
•
Hands-on proficiency with Python, PyTorch, and transformer-based architectures.
•
Deep understanding of Hugging Face Transformers and related frameworks.
•
Proven experience handling end-to-end ML operations in production.
•
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
•
Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and scalability.
Preferred Skills
•
Experience with MLOps tools and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•
Knowledge of vector databases and modern retrieval techniques.
•
Background in data science, analytics, and statistical modeling.
