The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading product quality maintenance as Annual Product Quality Reviews
• Leading product quality maintenance as Change Controls
• Leading product quality maintenance as Product Investigations
• Implementing product and/or process improvements as quality continues improvement
• Determining product batch disposition
• Determining corrections and corrective/preventive actions and supporting activities.
• Supporting scrum meetings including KPI and PBI monitoring/escalations.
• Supporting Quality Management systems maintenance.
• Willingness to be on-call if batch releases are required during weekends or extended holidays

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a health or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years of quality experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Drugs and/or Natural Health Products quality experience
• Master’s degree in microbiology from an accredited institution
• Three (3) years of Medical Device quality role
• Bilingual in French and English
• Background in microbiology
• French and English speaking required
• ISO13485 Lead auditor
• Skills include good team building; critical mindset on regulatory/standards attributes; risk escalation perceptiveness; problem solving
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Minitab, SAP
• Professional certification, such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) through American Society for Quality (ASQ), is preferred.

Work location: Halton, Ontario

Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to the Distribution Centre near Halton, Ontario as needed)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
