About the role

We’re looking for an Bilingual Administrative Support II to join our growing team!

Reporting to Unit Manager, Administration, the successful candidate will be a key member of the Broker Logistics Team. You will be working with a national team responsible for managing broker contracts and codes, in addition to working on various compliance and governance related tasks for West, Ontario and Atlantic. You will work closely with other members of the Broker Finance team, as well as Business Development.
What you’ll do here:

  • Perform various tasks within the broker logistics team like issuing broker contracts, setting up broker codes in Halcion and maintaining codes

  • Ensure that the broker change requests are properly executed and communicated with business development and other stakeholders

  • Perform various governance related tasks like licensing checks

  • Maintain the broker contracts library and inventory

  • Provide support to other broker finance teams, as needed

  • Manage correspondence and ensure the quality and accuracy of information.  

  • Respond to a variety of requests within the defined service level agreement timeframe

  • Support projects or new initiatives as requested

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with performing administrative tasks, preferably in insurance

  • Bilingual in French and English

  • Knowledge of Brokers and setting up of codes in Halcion (asset)

  • Experience with contracts (asset)

  • Knowledge of insurance business environment (preferred)

  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, capable of working in a fast-paced environment

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
