We are looking for a seasoned Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting across multiple company books, supervise bookkeeping, and prepare financial statements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger postings and day-to-General bookkeeping responsibilities: general ledger postings and accounting duties
  • Handle full-cycle accounting for a multiple number companies
  • Supervise bookkeeping duties
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Prepare and process invoices
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Draft cheques and remittances
  • Process bank deposits and other errands as necessary
  • Process sales tax payments
  • Support general day-to-day administrative duties

Qualifications:

  • College or University Education in Business or Accounting
  • 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability, time management skills and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

Location: Burlington, Ontario (in-office)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Vacancy: This is a newly created position
Salary Range (Based on relevant Experience): $50,000 to $95,000 per year.
