Prepare and analyze financial statements, maintain and reconcile the general ledger, manage accounts payable/receivable, perform bank reconciliations, assist with audits and tax filings, conduct financial analysis, control expenses, and implement process improvements.
We are seeking an intermediate-level Accountant with strong analytical and communication skills to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, multi-entity accounting environment and be responsible for a range of weekly, monthly, and annual deliverables. This is a remote role based in Ontario, Canada.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Liaise with international entities to support consolidation and reporting processes.
• Coordinate weekly consolidated cash forecasting and assist with commentary.
• Review vendor invoices and assist with accounts payable oversight on a weekly basis.
• Coordinate corporate tax letters and payments with assistance from tax advisors.
• Support month-end close processes and ensure adherence to internal timelines.
• Perform other duties as required to support business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-5 years of experience in general or full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas (e.g., SUMIF, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1-5 years of experience in general or full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas (e.g., SUMIF, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with SaaS companies.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting systems.
• Actively pursuing CPA designation.
