POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly motivated Account Supervisor to take on the day-to-day leadership of omni-channel tactics for a large Health and Wellness brand. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for collaborating with client channel leads and cross-functional partners. Reporting to the VP, the candidate will be responsible for developing and mentoring junior team members.
As the main day-to-day client contact, this individual will lead assigned projects by setting priorities, organizing work-streams, and collaborating with Planning, Project Management, and Creative departments to write a strong and inspiring agency brief and concept based on the client’s initial brief. The individual will also provide client-service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling reports and competitor trend analyses, scheduling (in partnership with the Project Manager and Financial partners), and organizing logistics. Additionally, the candidate will supervise and provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, including oversight of the Assistant Account Executives, and continually seek ways to add value to the client agency relationship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume the role of main day-to-day client contact
- Set priorities, organize workstreams, and assume a leadership role for assigned projects
- Collaborate with Planning, Project Management, and Creative departments to write a strong inspiring agency brief and concept based on the client’s initial brief
- Provide client-service administration, including preparing client status and activity reports, attending meetings and conference calls, compiling reports and competitor trend analyses, scheduling (in partnership with your Project Manager and Financial partners), and organizing logistics
- Populate and distribute weekly/monthly status reports to key stakeholders
- Respond promptly to all client and internal requests
- Influence the development of the highest quality creative work by sharing knowledge of the client, business, and brand and demonstrate strong creative judgement and strategic recommendations
- Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines and business areas throughout the organization, including Creative, Strategy/Planning, Project Management, and Production teams
- Supervise and provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the team, including oversight of the Account Coordinators.
- Continually seek ways to add value to the client agency relationship
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- At least 4+ years of industry experience in a well-established account role with a proven track record including AOR and large brand experience
- Experience working across all channels
- Solid verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients
- Experience working with large teams in a client-facing role
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Able to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- DTC pharmaceutical experience preferred
