Account Manager

About your role:

At Fiserv, we partner with financial institutions and enterprises to deliver payments, processing, and financial technology solutions that drive client outcomes. You will support Relationship Managers in the day-to-day operational management of our national account portfolio, resolving complex issues and ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience that protects and grows revenue.

What you’ll do:

  • Resolve complex client issues and navigate customer challenges with a focus on increasing client satisfaction and retention.
  • Execute add-on sales and upsell/cross-sell initiatives to optimize and protect revenue while controlling renewal compressions.
  • Analyze client data to identify trends, inform account strategies, and produce actionable reports for Relationship Managers and leadership.
  • Organize and manage multiple accounts with attention to detail; prioritize tasks and coordinate across internal teams to meet client SLAs.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, ensuring clarity on issue resolution, service delivery, and commercial changes.
  • Coordinate escalations, track account KPIs, and maintain accurate account and opportunity records in eCRM.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in strategic account management and client retention for enterprise or national accounts.
  • 3+ years of experience in executing add-on sales, upsell, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • 2+ years of experience in CRM platforms such as Salesforce (Sales Cloud) and CRM data management.
  • 2+ years of experience in analyzing client data using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in payments or financial services product knowledge and relevant standards such as PCI DSS or NACHA.
  • 3+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • 4+ years of experience using Salesforce and CRM analytics.

How you’ll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Thursday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range:

$64,000.00-$80,000.00
