Position Summary
The Account Manager will manage e.l.f. Beauty overall relationship with Walmart Canada. The role will deliver sustainable growth plans, determining where to play and how to win and detect white space opportunities across e.l.f. Beauty brands.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed brand objectives and sales goals
- Develops, implements, and monitors the customers annual business plan, while incorporating into e.l.f.’s GTM strategy
- Clear understating key customer drivers and KPI’s
- Identify and execute business plans to grow market share, rankings, and profitability
- Track and analyze budget forecast and identify any opportunities/risks
- Ensure strong visual presence in store and on retailer.com
- Assortment and Planogram work
- Manage various P&L (sales revenue, trade spend, margins, A&P, etc.)
- Strong sales, influence, and collaboration skills
- Monitor and report on competitive brand launches and events
- Capacity to develop and execute sales meetings
- Work with cross-functional teams; marketing, finance, and demand planning
- Determines financial needs based on business plans and ROI analysis
- Gains authorization for incremental investments
- Analyzes ROI on incremental investment required
- Processes accounting claim approvals on an on-going and timely basis
- Mitigate Returns risk
- Manage timely shut off of discontinued sku’s based on customer inventory
- Implement markdowns strategies to mitigate risk
- Review all launch and promotion plans to assess correct inventory levels
- Set up lab requirement for in person walk through and presentation
- Performs other related duties as required
Requirements
- Remote office - based in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)
- College or bachelor’s degree in Retail Management, Business, or similar major
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in Sales within Cosmetics or CPG related Industry
- OMNI Channel experience managing both brick and mortar + ecommerce
- Leadership ability and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability
- Strong business acumen and financial ability
- Value integrity, personal responsibility, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Strong relationship building skills
- Team-oriented, responsive, passion to succeed
- Strong sales, influence, and collaboration skills
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Strong computer and analytical skills - specifically, Microsoft Office excel and PowerPoint
- Must be willing and able to travel within assigned territory
- Preference given to candidates who have direct Walmart Canada experience
