About the Role

The Account Executive is responsible for new business sales of CounselLink+ | Enterprise Legal Management Software (ELM) | LexisNexis to Corporate Legal and Legal Operations Departments in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Meet top line sales and revenue goals

  • Create and manage a territory plan to capitalize on prospect opportunities and grow pipeline

  • Manage a complex sales cycle from lead through contract signature

  • Manage a consultative sales motion at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrate and articulate ROI of products and services to prospects

  • Create targeted, solution-oriented proposals with appropriate positioning and pricing for software and services

  • Develop and track pipeline within assigned territory utilizing CRM (Salesforce.com) and report at least weekly on pipeline/forecast/opportunity progression

  • Represent product portfolio through speaking engagements, industry events and trade shows

  • Maintain awareness of market needs and industry trends and use information to optimize market position

  • Expected total travel 30-50%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Minimum 8 years of enterprise level sales experience

  • ELM and/or CLM successful sales experience and/or market knowledge preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Solid understanding of solution selling value proposition

  • Demonstrated knowledge of negotiation process

  • Demonstrated ability to work in sales team environments

  • Technical aptitude

  • Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and manage time and territory effectively

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Advanced computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM applications

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Canada - Toronto (Yonge St) $96,900 - $146,900 (CAD) and Total Target Cash Range for primary location in Ontario is 162,600 - 212,600 (CAD). Base Pay Range in Ontario: $91,100 - $141,100 (CAD) and Total Target Cash Range is $153,600 - $203,600 (CAD).
