Wordly, a rapidly-growing AI startup in the San Francisco Bay Area, has a tremendous opportunity for a French speaking Sales Account Executive in Canada on our sales team. Wordly is used to bring live translation and captioning to meetings & events of all kinds for thousands of customers worldwide. Our ideal candidate is located in Ontario, Quebec or the Maritime provinces and should be a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys and is able to work in a rapidly evolving environment, and has a passion for learning about AI and new technology. The ideal candidate will have experience selling technology solutions to a broad range of organizations.

We are looking for a fluent French-speaking Account Executive to drive sales growth across the Canadian region. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle - from prospecting and qualifying opportunities through to closing deals - while working closely with our leadership and marketing teams.

What you’ll do
  • Drive new business across Canada with a focus on French-speaking markets

  • Respond to inbound leads and generate new pipeline through prospecting

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations

  • Manage RFP responses and negotiate contracts

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships

  • Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns and events

  • Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast using HubSpot CRM

What we’re looking for
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)

  • Based in Canada (remote role)

  • 5+ years’ experience in B2B sales with a track record of closing deals

  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Self-starter with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice to have
  • Experience in SaaS, AV services, or translation/language technology

  • Technology skills - CRM, Reporting, Zoom/MS TEAMS

  • Sales Experience - pipeline management, value based selling, building relationships quickly

Located in Los Altos, California, Wordly is an exciting tech startup that is looking to grow its engineering and GTM teams! From virtual meetings to large, in-person conference venues, Wordly strives to provide high quality, real-time translation services in 50+ languages to anyone, anywhere. 

Wordly caters to numerous customers around the world which include local organizations and businesses; government entities; Fortune 500 companies; and much, much more. While this is a fully remote position, office space in Los Altos, California is available for San Francisco Bay Area residents that wish to utilize it.
