Position Overview:-
The Account Director owns the full client lifecycle for a $3M to $5M account portfolio, serving as an executive advisor to clients and a strategic partner to internal teams. This role leads digital growth strategies across CRM, marketing automation, commerce, analytics, and related enterprise platforms.
Location:-
This is a hybrid role with some work-from-home flexibility. Preference will be given to candidates in the Greater Toronto Area, as the role follows a three-day-per-week in-office schedule to support collaboration, workshops, and client engagement. Travel to client and partner offices is required.
Core Responsibilities:-
- Portfolio Management: Own and grow 6-8 high-value client relationships, maintaining a $3M to $5M portfolio benchmark while managing budgets, contracts, invoicing, performance, satisfaction, and escalations.
- Executive Advisory & Alignment: Build trusted relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders by translating business priorities into actionable digital transformation plans.
- Strategic Lifecycle Planning: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and develop multi-year marketing and technology roadmaps aligned to measurable client outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Delivery: Partner with engineering, marketing, and delivery teams to define scope, milestones, budgets, and timelines.
- Commercial Growth: Collaborate with Business Development and Client Services leadership to shape proposals, expand accounts, and prioritize profitable growth opportunities.
- Operational Discipline: Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline health in HubSpot to support transparent reporting, resource forecasting, and account risk management.
Technical Platform Ecosystem:-
The Account Director should bring strong conceptual and architectural awareness of enterprise technology platforms to guide client roadmaps across these areas:
- Enterprise CRM & Automation: Use Salesforce and related platforms to improve lead generation, audience data management, engagement tracking, and pipeline efficiency.
- Digital Experience & Content: Advise on Adobe Experience Cloud and CMS initiatives that create consistent customer experiences across web, mobile, and digital channels.
- Composable Commerce: Guide API-first and headless commerce strategies, including CommerceTools, to support flexible and scalable digital storefronts.
- Data Analytics & Insights: Use analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, to track performance, build reporting models, and recommend data-backed optimizations.
What You’ll Bring:-
- Professional Experience: 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in strategic account management, technology consulting, digital marketing, or enterprise agency environments.
- Technical Fluency: Experience managing enterprise-scale web applications, cloud solutions, systems integrations, or digital platforms.
- Executive Communication: Strong business analysis, storytelling, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills for senior and C-suite audiences.
- Client Advocacy: Ability to navigate matrixed client organizations and turn ambiguous requirements into structured delivery plans.
- Solution Orientation: A results-driven mindset focused on delivering value, strengthening client relationships, and exceeding expectations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Salary Range:- $100,000- $120,000
