As a Photonics Data Analysis Engineer, you will develop software for analyzing and measuring photonic devices, requiring advanced mathematical skills and strong programming expertise, particularly in Python and data visualization.

Develop and maintain control and measurement software that connects custom hardware (control boards, instruments, DAQ) to higher-level experiment frameworks. Write and integrate device drivers, support lab hardware bring-up and debugging, improve data capture and deployment practices, and contribute to tooling, testing, and CI to make prototype code reliable and maintainable while working closely with physicists and hardware engineers.

Perform precise optical and opto-electronic measurements, implement phase/frequency stabilization and phase locks, troubleshoot stability/noise issues, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software and PIC teams to integrate modules. Produce technical documentation, test procedures, and characterization reports.

Contribute expertise in optics and photonics for SNSPD development, operate cryogenic systems, and enhance performance and scalability of SNSPD technology.

The Lab Operations Specialist supports lab projects by maintaining equipment, performing technical tasks, troubleshooting, and documenting procedures while ensuring a clean and organized lab environment.
