Generate new business and close sales to small/medium businesses using consultative selling. Source leads via cold-calling and campaigns, qualify prospects, negotiate agreements, follow approved sales processes, and perform post-sale administrative tasks to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate and conduct daily recycling plant (MRF) operations to maintain production, control costs, ensure safety, manage inventory and supplies, produce reports, and support less experienced employees. May act as a team lead and assist with workflow coordination.

Participate in an up-to-18-month landfill operations training program to develop skills in safety, environmental compliance, heavy equipment, personnel management, landfill construction, gas and leachate management, finance, community relations, and operations reporting. Complete training curriculum, mentor programs, hands-on projects, and interim management assignments to prepare for Operations Manager and District Manager roles.

Lead and manage the Area Inside Sales team (3 supervisors, ~25 reps), implement sales/marketing strategies, drive outbound upsell/cross-sell, ensure customer satisfaction, meet sales activity goals, recruit and train staff, maintain CRM records and pricing/service alignment.

Manage and retain assigned key accounts across multiple sectors using consultative selling and contract-driven strategies. Lead RFP/RFQ responses, coordinate internal stakeholders, manage contracts/renewals/pricing, resolve service and billing issues, and maintain accurate records in internal systems. Identify growth and efficiency opportunities and communicate regularly with customers; occasional on-site visits required.
