Facilitates inside sales through phone, email, and electronic communication. Responds to customer orders and quotations, enters sales orders, provides product information and pricing, prospects for new opportunities, supports upselling, and manages order follow-up and issue resolution. Performs estimating, take-offs, proposals, and product code directives while meeting margin and sales quotas. Provides customer service and logistics support under general supervision.

Gather, analyze, normalize, and validate disparate data files for upload into master data management systems. Support Purchasing, Sales, Sourcing, and Pricing with data guidance and analysis. Maintain product, vendor, customer, cost, and price files; identify automation opportunities; resolve data discrepancies and train or guide junior staff.

Lead category strategy and P&L for one or more product categories: assortment planning, supplier development and negotiation, pricing, forecasting, merchandising representation, and cross-functional execution to drive sales, margin, inventory turns, and EBITDA. Manage teams and deliver operational plans aligned to short- and long-term goals while ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.

Provide account-level support to National Account Managers: pricing, order and quote entry, issue resolution, backorder management, KPI reporting, project tracking, and customer relationship maintenance to drive service and revenue improvements.

This apprenticeship role trains a general machinist in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include machining, interpreting designs, and supporting maintenance tasks.

Own and grow relationships with largest national customers, manage a $50M-$100M portfolio, develop C-suite account strategies, secure category programs, leverage analytics, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive sales growth with frequent overnight travel.

Manage and grow sales within an assigned customer base through prospecting, cross-selling, relationship building, forecasting, and resolving customer service issues. Work primarily in the field, maintain product knowledge, submit sales reports, and collaborate with internal teams to meet sales targets.
