Twelve-month early-career rotational marketing program across Product and Client Marketing or Growth Marketing. Responsibilities include supporting product launches, lifecycle campaigns, paid acquisition, influencer partnerships, content, email and in-app messaging, audience targeting, testing, QA, copywriting, performance analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Participants own marketing channels or campaign components, develop technical skills in messaging and advertising platforms, and deliver documented work for future teams.

Interns join Wealthsimple’s Software Development or Data Science teams for 4–8 months. Software interns build and test financial products, platforms, infrastructure, and ledger systems using modern engineering stacks. Data Science interns analyze production financial data, design experiments, build machine learning models, and generate insights for product, growth, credit, fraud, and business decisions. Both tracks emphasize ownership, rapid iteration, collaboration, curiosity, and effective communication.

Execute daily securities lending operations, including loan returns, recalls, settlement, reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, corporate actions, billing, treasury cash movements, audit support, and counterparty onboarding. Collaborate with trading, product, engineering, finance, and external counterparties to improve trade flow, develop procedures, and support the Options business. The role requires strong spreadsheet skills, financial judgment, and reliable execution under tight deadlines.

Lead end-to-end AI product development: define KPIs, design and train foundation/transformer models, run rigorous experiments (A/B, causal inference), build production training pipelines and evaluation harnesses, analyze feedback, and mentor teammates to translate models into measurable product impact.

The Senior Data Scientist will influence Wealthsimple's crypto experience by leveraging data analysis, problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to shape product strategy and improve customer engagement and retention.

Analyze large datasets to identify money-laundering and terrorist-financing patterns, improve AML detection and risk-scoring models, minimize false positives, build dashboards, and communicate trends and performance to AML leadership. The role partners with product, technology, and compliance teams to support data-driven financial crime prevention decisions.

Design and deliver backend software automating post-trade processing, including clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and depository integrations. Contribute to technical architecture, mentor developers through pairing and code reviews, and collaborate with Securities Operations, Product Management, and engineering teams. Build accurate, auditable systems for high-stakes financial workflows while expanding pipelines for new products.

Provide comprehensive wealth management support to high-net-worth clients, including onboarding, financial planning, investment proposals, account servicing, and complex planning involving corporations, trusts, and estates. The role emphasizes exceptional client experiences without commissions or sales targets, regular client communication, and improving digital wealth management services.

Own securities lending desk operations, including trade returns, booking, settlement, inventory balancing, recalls, corporate actions, and break resolution. Collaborate with Trading, Treasury, Middle Office, Engineering, and counterparties. Build automation tools using SQL, Google Apps Script, and Sheets to improve reconciliations, reporting, revenue flows, and desk profitability. Troubleshoot operational issues in a fast-paced market environment while developing expertise in securities finance and fintech.

Leads Accounts Engineering, managing approximately eight full-stack developers. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, performance management, technical direction, architectural alignment, roadmap prioritization, project planning, operational reliability, on-call health, and delivery quality. The role partners with Product and Data Science, drives high-velocity product launches, manages platform and product engineering priorities, and promotes AI-assisted engineering practices.

Own Wealthsimple’s Connectivity Platform strategy across brokerage and bank linking and the Public API. Lead product vision, roadmap, client experiences, reliability, connector routing, vendor relationships, authentication, consent, permissions, partner integrations, and external financial data access. Balance conversion, fraud, risk, compliance, and operational needs while developing scalable platform capabilities and advancing open banking.

Build and evolve Wealthsimple’s vulnerability management platform, including scanner integrations, automated triage, ticket routing, ownership resolution, SLA tracking, remediation workflows, dashboards, and reporting. Integrate AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, container, and security tooling while improving attack-surface risk assessment. Help develop AI-assisted workflows that validate findings, generate fixes, and create pull requests. Partner with developers, support compliance controls, and connect vulnerability management with threat intelligence and responsible disclosure programs.

Create monthly investor insights, investment materials, financial planning content, and timely market notes for Wealthsimple clients. Research market developments, synthesize complex investment concepts into clear and engaging writing, exercise editorial judgment, and use AI tools to refine standard content. The role partners with investment and editorial teams while requiring strong financial literacy, investment judgment, curiosity, independence, and familiarity with Canadian wealth management or retail investment products.

Guide clients through holistic investment, tax, and retirement planning. Build trust through discovery, personalized advice, and clear communication while encouraging informed financial action and asset consolidation at Wealthsimple. Manage client follow-up through phone and video, leverage technology to improve the planning experience, and own activity and consolidation performance metrics in a fast-paced sales environment.

Own consumer demand generation across paid media, organic, lifecycle, and referral channels. Build segment-specific campaigns, define and improve lead quality, manage routing and scoring, and measure performance through funded and retained accounts. Develop funnel reporting, run tests across creative, audiences, offers, and landing pages, and use AI to accelerate campaign workflows. Partner with Sales, Growth, Product Marketing, and Commercial Operations while owning delivery of the quarterly demand plan.

Leads Wealthsimple’s client tax function across brokerage products and regulated entities. Owns tax slips, registered-account reporting, client statements, withholding, regulatory filings, controls, governance, quality assurance, and regulator communications. Advises Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and CXO leaders on tax reporting requirements and issue resolution. Builds scalable systems, automation, and operating practices while hiring, coaching, and developing the Client Tax team.

Lead end-to-end quantitative market-risk model development and productionization. Build VaR, CVaR, stress-testing, derivatives-pricing, and CIRO 5000 margin engines; develop Python and SQL data pipelines; deploy Dockerized microservices through CI/CD; maintain monitoring for drift, failures, and anomalies; document methodologies for regulators and audit; and mentor junior quantitative developers.
