Design and implement enemy, ally, boss, and encounter combat for a fantasy action RPG. Define combat behaviors, develop early-stage design decisions, and collaborate with VFX artists, animators, and cross-disciplinary teams to create engaging combat experiences. The role requires boss design experience, scripting proficiency, and strong communication skills. Co-op and isometric ARPG experience are preferred. This is a hybrid or onsite position in Toronto, Ontario.

Design and balance RPG systems for a new action RPG, including player progression, skill trees, combat formulas, item progression, and gameplay balance. Create high-level design documents, iterate based on playtest feedback, and implement systems in partnership with engineering. The role requires substantial systems or balance design experience, a shipped RPG-style title, scripting proficiency, numerical data skills, and strong cross-disciplinary communication.

Design and implement 3D game levels and missions from prototype through shippable content. Responsibilities include greyboxing gameplay spaces, shaping pacing and key moments, collaborating with artists and programmers, and developing mechanics across varied environments. The role requires level design experience, at least one shipped title, prototyping ability, encounter design knowledge, and familiarity with major game engines and scripting.
