Design and build reusable, metadata-driven data and AI engineering frameworks using Databricks and cloud-native services. Architect and deploy Delta Live Tables, Lakeflow, and orchestrated Databricks workflows for automated data processing and AI agent deployment. Implement RAG/Graph RAG solutions and agent orchestration (AgentOps, Agent-bricks, LangGraph), integrate real-time streams, manage AI agent lifecycles, and ensure governance via Unity Catalog or AWS Glue.

Lead and operationalize frontier AI research into scalable, production-ready capabilities. Set strategy for applied AI R&D, oversee multidisciplinary teams, build platforms and evaluation frameworks, ensure governance and responsible AI, and partner across product, engineering, data, and business to deliver measurable enterprise value.

Serve as Vanguard Canadas senior legal advisor on securities, investment management, regulatory and commercial matters. Draft and negotiate agreements, manage external counsel, advise on governance and regulatory change, represent the firm to regulators, partner with compliance and risk, and lead and mentor the Canadian legal team.
