The Accountant manages full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, bank and balance-sheet reconciliations, intercompany consolidation, fixed-asset accounting, financial reporting, error correction, and compliance with accounting policies and standards. The role supports internal departments and corporate controllers, investigates discrepancies, collaborates with the finance team, and completes ad hoc projects. Candidates need accounting experience, a high school diploma, and preferably a related bachelor’s degree and CPA designation or progress toward one.

Develop and execute category sales strategies, identify penetration opportunities, close new business, and achieve profitable growth goals. Build relationships with customers, chefs, and internal teams while using data analytics and Salesforce to prioritize opportunities and track results. Provide product solutions, market insights, sampling, and customer support. Attend industry events, collaborate on team-selling efforts, maintain relevant certifications, and follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.

Prospects and qualifies leads, develops tailored foodservice solutions, manages customer accounts and order issues, provides product information and training, analyzes sales data, and supports customer events and internal meetings. The role requires driving to customer accounts and extensive travel throughout the Barrie territory, along with ongoing sales training and occasional employee training support.
