Performs general, obstetrical, small-parts, and peripheral vascular ultrasound examinations while providing safe, accurate, patient-centered care. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, follows Sonography Canada and CMRITO standards, maintains continuing education requirements, and demonstrates strong communication, assessment, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Supports direct patient care and clinical unit operations under nursing and interprofessional team supervision. Duties include assisting with hygiene, activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, feeding, comfort measures, infection-control practices, room preparation, supply stocking, documentation, patient safety, and communication with patients, families, nurses, and other healthcare staff.
