Designs, simulates, tests, and optimizes high-power power electronics systems, including UPS and energy storage converters. Responsibilities include multilevel inverter control, PCBA design, HIL testing, high-power system validation, IGBT module characterization, magnetic component design, troubleshooting, and compliance with UL, IEC, and FCC standards. The role also requires modeling with COMSOL and other simulation tools, developing test plans, and collaborating on hardware, firmware, and system integration.

Designs and develops high-power electrical systems up to 2.5 MVA for UPS, STS, PDU, and test-bay applications. Responsibilities include schematics, layouts, busbar and cable sizing, electrical calculations, component selection, BOMs, test-bay integration, high-power testing, troubleshooting, safety analysis, standards compliance, documentation, and manufacturing support.

Design, simulate, validate, and industrialize low-voltage dry-type transformers up to multi-megawatt ratings. The role uses SolidWorks for 3D modeling, drawings, large assemblies, and PDM; develops BOMs and ERP manufacturing packages; supports FEA, CFD, testing, assembly, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, supplier activities, and technical governance. Requires cross-functional project ownership, standards compliance, risk mitigation, and occasional international travel.

Designs electromechanical systems, metal cabinetry, and enclosure packaging for power conversion, energy storage, and monitoring products. Creates SolidWorks models, manufacturing drawings, MBD packages, BOMs, and ERP configurations. Supports factory troubleshooting, assembly, retrofits, DFM/DFA, product optimization, and technical reporting. Collaborates on projects, develops design solutions, maintains documentation, and contributes to manufacturing and order fulfillment activities.

Develop embedded Linux software and GUIs for industrial controllers; implement industrial protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP); support product lifecycle from development to production/service and write operational documentation.
