Leads automation architecture, controls development, system integration, validation, and deployment for energy storage, microgrid, and power conversion systems. Oversees PLC, SCADA, EMS, HMI, communications, HIL/SIL testing, certification support, customer projects, commissioning, troubleshooting, and cybersecurity compliance. Provides technical leadership, mentorship, standards development, global collaboration, and executive reporting across ESS engineering initiatives.

Lead technical role on Energy Storage Solutions for North America: liaise with R&D and engineering, evaluate feasibility and risks, perform power system studies, design system integration and single-line diagrams, develop test plans, manage Engineering-To-Order projects from booking to commissioning, and prepare technical documentation and specifications.

Develop embedded Linux software and GUIs for industrial controllers; implement industrial protocols (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP); support product lifecycle from development to production/service and write operational documentation.

Lead pre-sales and application engineering for energy storage systems (ESS): manage proposals and pipeline, coach and develop the team, collaborate with sales, R&D and engineering to design tailored ESS solutions, and present technical-commercial value to customers.

Design and develop high-power electronic converters, inverters, UPS, and energy storage systems. Build simulation models, advanced control strategies, PCBA schematics and layouts, and IGBT power modules. Conduct HIL and high-power testing, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure compliance with UL, IEC, and FCC standards. Support magnetic component design, firmware and communication integration, certification, and reliability testing while managing multiple projects.

Manage North America compensation programs and employment‑based immigration/relocation processes. Maintain job architecture, run benchmarking and annual review cycles, administer incentive plans, coordinate visas and relocations with external counsel, ensure regulatory compliance, prepare compensation and mobility reports, and advise HR, Payroll, and Finance on technical, risk, and pay decisions.

Design, validate, and support electrical power-distribution systems and schematics in E-Plan for ETO/CTO projects. Produce technical documentation, test plans, and production procedures; support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, certification, and cross-functional project delivery.

Ensure product quality and compliance across manufacturing by driving root-cause analysis, controlling non-conformances, performing audits, supporting supplier quality, working with engineers on corrective actions, and leading continuous improvement and lean initiatives like 5S.
