Provides advanced conservation expertise for organic objects, including condition assessment, treatment, preventive care, technical research, documentation, exhibitions, loans, and emergency response. Leads conservation laboratory workflows, budgets, equipment, and resources while supervising conservators, interns, volunteers, and project staff. Collaborates across museum teams to balance preservation, access, and operational needs, and advances conservation practice through research, publications, presentations, consultations, and educational programming.

Supports development of ROM’s Prince Takamado Gallery of Japan through collections-based research, acquisition and loan research, narrative development, documentation in TMS, publications, exhibitions, programs, and community consultation. The role collaborates with curators and cross-functional teams while contributing expertise in Japanese art and culture, managing project deliverables, and communicating research to varied audiences.

Serves as the first point of contact for museum visitors and members through phone, email, chat, and online platforms. Provides visit, ticketing, and membership assistance; processes sales; promotes museum offerings; resolves inquiries; conducts outbound member and feedback calls; monitors digital reviews; and accurately records interactions. The role requires bilingual English-French communication, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, technology proficiency, and availability for variable onsite shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Manage day-to-day operations of gallery learning spaces, develop and evaluate hands-on educational programming, supervise staff and volunteers, coordinate cross-departmental logistics, monitor budgets and reporting, and ensure welcoming, inclusive visitor experiences during peak periods.

Lead ROM's 10M-specimen insects and arachnids collection through research, stewardship, exhibitions, public programming, partnerships, fundraising, and mentorship. Conduct and publish collections-based research, secure external funding, develop interdisciplinary exhibitions and outreach, and supervise students, volunteers, and staff while advancing accessibility and community engagement.
