Creates high-quality compositing and visual effects work for advertising, animation, experiential projects, installations, music videos, museum content, augmented reality, and digital experiences. Collaborates with creative teams to deliver detailed visual storytelling across varied project types. The role requires working in the Montreal studio at least three days per week, with flexible arrangements for the remaining days.

Creates production-quality AI-generated images and video sequences for advertising, visual development, previs, IP development, and final shots. Builds ComfyUI workflows, trains LoRAs, evaluates generative models, maintains visual consistency, and delivers compositing-ready outputs. Collaborates with art direction, VFX, 3D, real-time, and production teams while documenting workflows, managing compute usage, respecting licensing and consent requirements, and training other artists.

Creates complex visual effects simulations including fire, smoke, fluids, destruction, and abstract effects using Houdini. Collaborates with FX, CG supervision, pipeline, production, and other departments to deliver photorealistic, technically optimized shots. Responsibilities include simulation setup, caching, rendering, quality control, troubleshooting, creative iteration, communication, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
