Provide regulatory guidance and technical support across Quality, R&D, Marketing, and Sales to ensure ingredient, packaging, and product compliance with domestic and international food laws, claims, and certifications. Prepare product label reports, manage registrations and renewals, review ingredient/artwork, liaise with external certifiers (Gluten Free, Kosher, Non-GMO, Organic, Vegan, RSPO), and maintain regulatory databases and documentation.

Support supplier sourcing, onboarding, and compliance (Sedex) while maintaining contracts and records in SAP/MDG. Track corrective actions, coordinate cross-functional sourcing projects, and identify process improvements to support responsible sourcing and timely supplier readiness.

Lead food safety and quality improvement initiatives across production by managing incidents, conducting root cause analysis, implementing CAPAs, analyzing SPC data, driving cross-functional corrective actions, monitoring KPIs, training staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety programs and BRC requirements to reduce defects and improve product safety and quality.

Strategically partner with corporate and functional leaders to align people strategy with business goals. Lead organizational design, change management, talent and leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and employee relations. Build scalable HR processes, advise on compensation and compliance, support hiring, and champion culture, engagement, and values to enable growth and high performance.

Lead R&D team to improve product quality, reduce costs, and optimize production processes. Coach technologists and scientists, drive technical excellence, conduct data-driven analysis and sensory validation, troubleshoot factory issues, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver shelf-life and specification documentation. Support commissioning of equipment and foster continuous improvement and supplier technical relationships.

Lead end-to-end payroll and benefits delivery for Canadian and US employees, ensure legal compliance, manage payroll calendars and year-end filings, audit and reconcile payroll data, strengthen controls and processes, act as escalation point and liaison with external payroll provider, and partner cross-functionally to improve payroll, benefits, and pension administration.
