Teams at Questrade Financial Group (QFG)

Provides specialized, end-to-end support for complex trading inquiries involving equities, options, FX, shorting, precious metals, negative balances, platform issues, P&L discrepancies, corporate actions, dividends, and journaling. Troubleshoots trade routing and order-flow problems, resolves issues on first contact, communicates with internal teams, reports client feedback, and recommends process and platform improvements.

Reviews residential mortgage files before funding to ensure compliance with credit policies, risk controls, regulatory requirements, lending authority, KYC, AML, and EDD standards. Evaluates property appraisals and valuation methods, verifies data and documentation, monitors lending trends, supports underwriters and mortgage officers, tracks quality metrics, and identifies process improvements. The role also provides guidance, participates in projects, and maintains relationships with lending, credit risk, and compliance teams.

Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions while designing automation workflows using n8n, AI, Python or JavaScript, SQL, APIs, and database integrations. Extract data from corporate action notices, reconcile and post client payments, monitor events, audit manual processes, implement validation controls, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering. Requires brokerage or wealth management back-office experience and knowledge of corporate actions, depositories, and Canadian and US regulatory requirements.
