Software Engineering Intern joining Pebl’s Time Engineering team to build scalable platform solutions. Responsibilities include developing and testing TypeScript applications and services with PostgreSQL and AWS in a serverless environment, troubleshooting issues, participating in design and code reviews, and collaborating with engineering, product, and design teams. The intern will contribute to customer-facing features while learning software engineering best practices and AI-driven development.

Build and ship full-stack features for an LLM-powered conversational AI assistant. Own backend services, APIs, data models, React interfaces, streaming experiences, agentic workflows, observability, and evaluation. Design recovery and human handoff experiences, troubleshoot production issues, mentor engineers, contribute to technical reviews, and collaborate with product and design teams. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience delivering conversational AI products used by real customers.

Own the Lifecycle Management product roadmap, initially focused on time off, leave of absence, and time tracking across 185+ countries. Partner with engineering, operations, and design to improve compliance, self-service, automation, AI-agent workflows, and user experience. Translate customer and business needs into requirements, define metrics, run experiments, manage releases, and communicate progress and trade-offs to stakeholders.

Lead Pebl’s data strategy, infrastructure, governance, analytics, and AI integration. Own scalable data engineering pipelines and secure global employment data while translating insights into business outcomes across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal. Build AI capabilities for products and internal workflows, communicate data-driven narratives to executives and the board, and recruit and develop a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and AI specialists.

Leads complex, cross-functional programs from scoping through implementation and post-launch review. Translates strategic priorities into workplans, manages milestones, dependencies, risks, governance, and stakeholder accountability. Partners with Operations, R&D, Engineering, Legal, and Sales to improve customer and employee experiences across global employment services. Builds dashboards, reporting, executive presentations, and decision documents, while measuring outcomes and sustaining improvements.
