Teams at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan

Evaluates private capital investment opportunities, conducts sector and company research, builds financial models, supports transaction execution and financing, manages diligence advisors, and prepares Investment Committee recommendations. After closing, supports portfolio company value creation, acquisitions, refinancing, budgeting, and strategic initiatives. Develops investment theses, conducts market mapping and valuation benchmarking, builds pipelines, and maintains relationships with management teams, bankers, consultants, and fund partners.

Manages statutory financial reporting for international subsidiaries, including financial statement preparation, audits, regulatory filings, stakeholder coordination, and reporting controls. Supports consolidated mid-year and year-end statements, accounting research, technical accounting assessments, disclosures, and audit remediation. Leads process standardization, reporting automation, operational improvement, and compliance initiatives across global reporting activities.

Supports corporate financial accounting, general ledger integrity, period-end close, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, audit support, vendor payments, and chart of account maintenance. The role also manages banking and funding processes, collaborates with internal teams and external banking partners, and contributes to accounting process improvements and special projects. It requires CPA certification, knowledge of Canadian GAAP, and at least five years of progressive accounting or operational experience.
