Provides expert advice on complex financial reporting and assurance matters to OSC leadership and staff. Analyzes novel accounting issues, reviews proposed domestic and international standards, monitors industry developments, supports special projects, and communicates technical positions through publications and presentations. The role requires collaboration with securities regulators, standard setters, auditors, issuers, and other external stakeholders.

Provide legal leadership for Enforcement Division knowledge and practice: develop and maintain practice materials, run knowledge management, conduct legal research, advise investigators and counsel, design and deliver training, and identify technology and process efficiencies to support investigations and litigation.

Participate in a 60-month CPA rotational program involving regulatory reviews, internal controls assessments, financial reporting reviews under IFRS and U.S. GAAP, accounting standards research, regulatory policy development, and training delivery. Work across OSC divisions while completing CPA designation requirements, developing accounting, assurance, compliance, and securities regulation expertise before transitioning to a permanent position.
