Lead backend development and own services end-to-end: design, deploy, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production systems. Collaborate with frontend, CloudEng, product, and design teams; participate in on-call rotations, code reviews, security/privacy reviews, and mentoring. Use observability tooling and cloud infrastructure to maintain reliability and ship high-quality features.

Lead and mentor a software engineering team building privacy-respecting Ads (Firefox Suggest) backend services, partner integrations, experimentation, and product-facing systems. Partner with Product, Data, Privacy, and Revenue stakeholders to deliver reliable, maintainable production software, hire and onboard engineers, and foster an inclusive, distributed team culture while balancing privacy, policy, and business constraints.
