Supports month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting, forecasting, business planning, cash forecasting, financial controls, and management analyses. The role analyzes large datasets, identifies process improvements, reports operating metrics and variances, assists with liquidity management, and prepares presentations and ad hoc analyses for senior management. It collaborates with finance, operations, banks, and internal and external auditors.

Manage Canadian and US tax filings, provisions, reporting, compliance, audits, and cross-border tax matters. Lead CRA and IRS inquiries, tax planning, legislative research, budgeting projections, transfer pricing analysis, and tax structuring for mergers and acquisitions. Collaborate with finance leaders, reporting teams, auditors, and external advisors while guiding tax initiatives and ensuring accurate filings and disclosures.

Plan, execute, and finalize operations projects involving submetering maintenance and service. Review tickets, prepare contractor instructions, troubleshoot meter deficiencies, analyze electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate resources and materials, update documentation, communicate with internal and external teams, and develop mitigation plans. The role requires customer service, problem-solving, technical analysis, continuous improvement, GTA property travel, and split office and field work.
