Develops proprietary foundation models for 3D human pose estimation, body mesh recovery, articulated tracking, and human-scene interaction. Responsibilities include designing novel architectures and biomechanical losses, scaling distributed training across multi-GPU clusters, curating massive multimodal datasets, modeling occlusion and complex motion, and integrating physics-aware tracking with robotics control and locomotion systems.

Build and maintain an internal computer vision annotation platform, including interactive workflows, dashboards, data pipelines, and quality measurement tools. Develop customer-facing ML services for PII blurring and model-assisted labeling. Deploy and optimize detection and segmentation models using PyTorch, TensorRT, and ONNX, and expose them through high-performance concurrent APIs. The role requires strong frontend engineering, production Python, applied ML deployment, video processing, and human-in-the-loop workflow expertise.

Lead Mecka's legal and compliance functions across privacy, commercial contracting, employment, outside counsel management, and AI/robotics regulatory risk across Canada, the US, and China. Build privacy and data-governance programs, draft and negotiate data licensing and deployment agreements, establish employment and contractor templates, run legal operations and counsel relationships, and provide board-ready risk reporting to enable secure, scalable deployments and revenue growth.
