Lead Mecka AI's global finance function covering accounting, tax, financial operations, and systems. Own multi-entity US GAAP close, tax compliance and strategy across US and international subsidiaries, ERP and finance systems implementation, audits, intercompany processes, and finance partnering for strategy, fundraising, and growth. Build controls, documentation, and scale the finance team.

Lead end-to-end hardware and manufacturing data acquisition programs: scope customer needs, recruit and manage hardware experts, design collection workflows, own QA and delivery, build repeatable playbooks, and scale programs across manufacturing and robotics domains.

Lead cross-functional execution for data labeling, data capture, and hardware deployments. Scope ambiguous problems, create execution plans, manage timelines, risks, and stakeholders, communicate status to internal teams and customers, and improve operational processes and documentation.

Lead and build Mecka AI’s people function to scale headcount from ~50 to 100+. Own recruiting (senior and field), comp and equity bands across NY, Toronto, Shenzhen, immigration and employment infrastructure, people operations (onboarding, performance, manager training), org design, and employer brand. Partner with execs on all senior hires and deliver hiring, leveling, and immigration systems that support rapid, cross-geo growth.

Lead Mecka's legal and compliance functions across privacy, commercial contracting, employment, outside counsel management, and AI/robotics regulatory risk across Canada, the US, and China. Build privacy and data-governance programs, draft and negotiate data licensing and deployment agreements, establish employment and contractor templates, run legal operations and counsel relationships, and provide board-ready risk reporting to enable secure, scalable deployments and revenue growth.

Lead end-to-end scientific data acquisition programs for AI labs: scope projects with customers, recruit and manage scientific experts, design protocols and QA, monitor metrics, and deliver production datasets. Drive repeatable playbooks, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution to ensure trusted, model-useful data at scale.

Lead architecture and engineering for a body-worn capture platform from prototype through mass production. Own cross-disciplinary convergence (electrical, firmware, mechanical, optics), set quality/reliability standards, partner with industrial design and contract manufacturers, build and grow the hardware team, and drive field-to-design feedback and manufacturing reliability processes.

Lead global hiring and performance systems for operator-level teams. Build regional recruiting pipelines, design interview and assessment processes, implement performance management, define KPIs and incentive structures, manage compensation frameworks, maintain dashboards and reporting, and partner with regional leads to staff, train, and optimize operational teams.
