Teams at Kepler Communications

Design and implement FPGA code for satellite digital payloads, including DSP algorithms, software-defined radio modulation and demodulation, and embedded processor interfaces. Develop custom IP, improve DSP and interface reliability, integrate vendor IP, and support communications architecture and spacecraft design studies. Participate across simulation, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, and hardware testing using Xilinx FPGAs and industry-standard HDL and simulation tools.

Leads financial reporting and controllership, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidation, reconciliations, accounting policies, statutory filings, audits, and internal controls. Manages NetSuite and finance process improvements, supports IPO or public-company readiness, and develops the accounting team while partnering with finance and business stakeholders.

Supports development and maintenance of backend services, satellite network infrastructure, and mission control automation. Collaborates with satellite operators and product managers to deliver reliable ground systems, writes tests and documentation, and participates in software and code reviews. The intern works hands-on across Kepler’s software stack and must complete a full-time internship beginning January 2027 while returning to post-secondary studies afterward.
