Develops, sustains, and improves manufacturing and service processes for genetic sequencing instruments. Troubleshoots production and customer-site issues involving yield, quality, throughput, and instrument performance; conducts controlled experiments; analyzes test results; develops procedures and technical requirements; supports new product transfers; and collaborates across Manufacturing, Service, Quality, and Lifecycle Management. The role also delivers troubleshooting training and requires short-notice travel to global customer sites.

Leads cross-functional technical projects across sustaining engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations. Responsibilities include developing project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and dashboards; coordinating engineering and operational teams; managing ECOs, lifecycle initiatives, NPI, cost reduction, and supply continuity programs; tracking milestones and resolving issues; maintaining regulatory documentation; and driving continuous improvement.

Develop and sustain electrical systems for DNA sequencing instruments across NPI, manufacturing transfer, and product lifecycle support. Design cable harnesses, qualify HPC platforms, troubleshoot hardware, investigate failures, execute verification testing, and manage engineering changes. Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, field service, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to improve reliability, performance, manufacturability, compliance, and supply continuity.
