Design, train, and deploy real-time computer vision and multimodal perception models for person detection, tracking, pose/gesture/emotion recognition, and scene understanding. Build data collection/labeling pipelines, optimize models for edge inference, integrate perception with behavior and firmware, debug failures, and evolve perception architecture from prototype to deployed robot systems.

Develop and prototype robotic hardware for expressive, interactive consumer robots. Design mechanical systems, electronics, PCBs and embedded integrations, collaborate with ML/software engineers, and iterate on perception and interaction hardware for production-ready robots.

The role involves designing and tuning control systems for robotics, integrating hardware, developing control algorithms, and collaborating with engineers to enhance robot motion and responsiveness.
