Teams at Homebase

Provides technical leadership across Homebase’s core product domains, including Payroll, Scheduling, Time Tracking, and HR Management. Defines technical vision, API strategy, service architecture, and domain-driven system decomposition. Resolves cross-cutting scalability, reliability, performance, and data-consistency challenges; mentors senior engineers; drives engineering standards; partners with product, data, design, and leadership; and advances AI-enabled engineering workflows.

Build and scale full-stack Hiring Assistant features using React and Ruby on Rails. Develop AI-driven hiring workflows for candidate discovery, screening, matching, and onboarding; integrate LLMs, agents, and automation tools; and contribute to architecture, APIs, distributed systems, performance, testing, and scalability. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data while improving engineering velocity and code quality in a high-ownership hybrid environment.

Own Homebase’s first 30-day customer experience, including onboarding, activation, free-trial conversion, and early engagement. Define the growth product strategy and roadmap, optimize self-serve funnels, run A/B experiments, analyze behavioral data, and develop AI-first onboarding experiences. Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and GTM leadership to improve activation, time-to-value, retention, and revenue outcomes.
