Teams at Grafana Labs

Develop and enhance Grafana data source plugins integrating third-party services and databases. Support plugin reliability and operations in Grafana Cloud, integrate data sources with agentic workflows, improve engineering processes, assist with customer escalations, and collaborate across the Grafana Division. The role requires strong Golang and TypeScript skills, Kubernetes and microservices experience, robust software development practices, and participation in on-call and SRE operations.

Build and operate Tempo, Grafana’s distributed tracing backend. Own complex projects across ingestion, storage, querying, metrics, APIs, autoscaling, and operational excellence. Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and customer-facing configuration while collaborating with product and engineering teams. Mentor engineers, participate in on-call and incident response, contribute design documentation and code reviews, and engage with the open-source community.

Design product experiences for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph, entity graph, entity catalog, and RCA workbench. Simplify complex, changing system relationships for engineers, SREs, and technical users through clear, role-based interfaces. Responsibilities include user research, translating data into accessible experiences, documenting design decisions, collaborating with engineering and product teams, and balancing customer, business, and technical needs. The role also includes mentoring designers and contributing to the evolution of the remote Product Design organization.
