Partner with GTM teams to deliver measurable automation and self-service tooling.

Design, build, operate, and maintain Grafana’s distributed search and storage systems. Drive projects from ideation through customer delivery, own system reliability and performance, participate in on-call rotations, contribute to open-source projects, and collaborate on technical design. Design, build, operate, and maintain reliable distributed systems for Grafana Loki and Grafana Cloud. The role involves cloud systems, Kubernetes, observability databases, distributed architectures, and close collaboration in a remote environment.

Build and operate scalable database infrastructure for a multi-tenant SaaS data platform. Responsibilities include ingestion, query planning, distributed query execution, storage formats, APIs for AI-agent retrieval, tenant isolation, observability, and cloud-native deployment. The role requires architectural ownership, production software delivery, collaboration across product and infrastructure, and pragmatic decision-making in an early-stage, high-autonomy environment.

Administer and support NetSuite and related finance systems, including configuration, workflows, integrations, access controls, reporting, troubleshooting, and compliance. Develop and enhance Grafana data source plugins integrating third-party services and databases. Support plugin reliability and operations in Grafana Cloud, integrate data sources with agentic workflows, improve engineering processes, assist with customer escalations, and collaborate across the Grafana Division. The role requires strong Golang and TypeScript skills, Kubernetes and microservices experience, robust software development practices, and participation in on-call and SRE operations.

Build and operate Tempo, Grafana’s distributed tracing backend. Own complex projects across ingestion, storage, querying, metrics, APIs, autoscaling, and operational excellence. Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and customer-facing configuration while collaborating with product and engineering teams. Mentor engineers, participate in on-call and incident response, contribute design documentation and code reviews, and engage with the open-source community.

Develop and maintain full-stack integrations for Grafana Cloud observability: build TypeScript/React frontends, Go backends, and Jsonnet mixins. Ship end-to-end features, own projects from design to production, contribute upstream to Prometheus/OpenTelemetry, participate in on-call rotation, and represent the team's work across the org.

Design, build, operate, and maintain critical distributed systems powering Grafana Cloud Metrics and the open-source Mimir project. Drive projects from concept through production, improve reliability and performance, contribute to roadmap and design decisions, review code, support teammates, manage releases, and participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations. Work with cloud infrastructure, microservices, observability systems, and large-scale telemetry databases while collaborating in a remote, open-source environment.

Lead multi-quarter frontend engineering initiatives for Grafana’s DataViz squad, from problem framing through rollout and measurement. Build and evolve visualizations using TypeScript, React, uPlot, and eCharts; mentor engineers; conduct code and design reviews; support production software through on-call and incident response; assist with customer escalations; and represent the squad in cross-team planning, demos, and technical proposals.

Lead architecture and delivery of large, distributed telemetry database systems for Grafana Cloud. Own reliability, performance, cost, SLOs/SLIs, incident response, observability, automation, and cross-team alignment while mentoring engineers and driving technical strategy.

Design, build, and operate core backend services for an AI-native context management system: ingestion, indexing, retrieval APIs, multi-tenant SaaS features, and agent-facing integrations. Define architecture, ensure observability, iterate from prototype to production, and collaborate across product and infrastructure while owning service reliability and technical direction.
