Teams at Gordon Food Service

Select and assemble food-service products onto pallets for customer shipments. Responsibilities include scanning inventory, operating electric pallet jacks, lifting items weighing 10–80 pounds, working across freezer, cooler, and dry-goods zones, and following health, safety, and food-safety requirements.

Executes fulfillment and replenishment plans, manages perishable inventory, releases purchase orders, and maintains inventory parameters. Collaborates with suppliers, transportation, receiving, merchandising, and procurement teams to improve service levels, inventory turns, product availability, and loss reduction. Performs vendor analysis, manages seasonal and obsolete inventory, supports product transitions, and develops continuous improvement strategies using supply chain software and business applications.

Manages regional revenue initiatives focused on pricing, cost, margin, customer profitability, and product performance. Develops revenue management plans, analyzes margin gaps and predictive trends, evaluates product and vendor costs, recommends purchasing and pricing strategies, and supports customer agreement reviews. Collaborates with sales, merchandising, shared services, and division leadership to improve revenue outcomes, address underperforming markets, deliver performance reporting, and scale revenue management processes and tools.
