Make product and technical decisions informed by customer needs, write and review design documentation, guide technical direction, and remain hands-on in building production systems. Collaborate across frontend and backend technologies while shaping team practices, system quality, and future product areas.

Lead the design and development of complex backend systems spanning multiple teams and domains. Own architectural direction, data modeling, reliability, observability, scalability, and enterprise workflows. Translate ambiguous business requirements into maintainable designs, mentor senior engineers, influence product direction, and personally deliver high-impact backend initiatives. Work with hierarchical and relationship-heavy data, distributed systems, and technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Django, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Docker.

Leads strategic FP&A, corporate financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, executive and board reporting, and commercial analytics. Builds AI-powered finance automation using Python, SQL, workflow platforms, APIs, and integrated CRM, billing, CPQ, and ERP systems. Partners with RevOps and Sales on deal structuring, pricing, margins, and SaaS metrics. Executes M&A and capital markets activities, manages compensation modeling, and establishes the foundation for a future FP&A and FinOps team.
