Provides legal advice on Canadian construction projects, reviews and negotiates contracts, assesses and mitigates legal risks, supports bids and contract changes, advises on disputes, collaborates with joint venture partners and external counsel, and delivers contract training. Requires a Juris Doctor or equivalent, post-bar legal experience, construction industry experience, and fluency in English and French.

Supports business development and project pursuit efforts for a construction, engineering, or design firm. Responsibilities include industry outreach, relationship management, teaming-partner evaluation, capture planning, SOQ and proposal preparation, CRM tracking, reporting, and coordinating internal and subcontractor resources. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, construction-project tracking abilities, and occasional travel.
