Responsibilities include triaging issues, reviewing pull requests, cutting releases, writing documentation, improving self-hosting, designing APIs and primitives, and shipping code weekly. The role requires strong engineering ownership, open source judgment, and a track record of maintaining or significantly contributing to widely used projects.

Own enterprise security and deployment requirements from discovery through shipped platform capabilities. Build reusable cloud and on-premises infrastructure supporting key management, tenant isolation, compliance integrations, and hybrid or multi-cloud deployment. Partner with sales, founders, and platform engineers, communicate designs to enterprise security teams, and directly implement solutions in TypeScript and Node.js.

Build and own Firecrawl’s Marketplace Exchange, turning signed data partnerships into live, permissioned, metered, and billable API integrations. Responsibilities include provider catalog development, routing partner data through the API, feed ingestion, access gating, usage metering, billing and payout reporting, and creating reusable integration patterns. The role requires strong product sense, developer experience focus, end-to-end ownership, and the ability to work effectively on ambiguous problems in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Build and ship developer-facing document-parsing products from concept through production. Own parsed-output reliability across PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, scanned files, and mixed formats. Solve layout detection, table structure, reading order, and OCR-routing challenges while creating intuitive APIs. Collaborate on roadmap decisions, use the product, monitor developer feedback, and rapidly iterate based on real customer needs.

Build, deploy, monitor, and retrain production machine learning models for search ranking, relevance, retrieval, content extraction, classification, and LLM-driven features. Develop large-scale data pipelines from crawl and query data, analyze experiments and behavioral logs, create A/B testing and offline evaluation frameworks, and guide product launch decisions using measurable results.

Build and operate GCP and on-premises infrastructure supporting high-throughput crawling, search, queues, databases, and ML workloads. Manage Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, enterprise security controls, reliability targets, cost optimization, and incident response. Partner with product and search engineering teams to productionize services and own infrastructure from design through operation.

Build and ship developer-facing API features end-to-end for a web-to-LLM data platform. Own reliability and developer experience, design clean APIs, dogfood the product, collaborate on roadmap tradeoffs, and iterate quickly based on real developer feedback. Requires prior experience shipping developer-facing products.

Build internal tools, automations, and AI-assisted workflows to scale developer support. Ship product and DX improvements that reduce tickets, turn recurring support pain into engineering solutions, and work closely with developers and support to iterate rapidly.

Responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation for developers, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in conveying product capabilities and usage. Collaborate with engineering and growth teams to enhance resources while gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Build and maintain infrastructure for reliable, large-scale web data collection. Improve success rates against sites with aggressive defenses, own proxy layer health/rotation/cost, push throughput under spiky load, and debug intermittent failures. Own systems end-to-end in production.
