Drafts and negotiates complex financing and security documents, advises on risk allocation and lender protections, manages due diligence, supervises external counsel, and supports syndicated transactions. The role also develops legal precedents, processes, training, and guidance while helping establish FCC’s Project Finance business line.

Analyzes complex financial information, assesses business and industry risks, structures syndicated and multi-entity lending solutions, and prepares credit recommendations for large agriculture and food businesses. The role establishes covenants and security requirements, monitors loan compliance, manages complex portfolios, collaborates with lenders and professional partners, and mentors team members.

Lead the origination, structuring, negotiation, approval, execution, and portfolio management of complex project finance transactions supporting Canadian agri-food processing, manufacturing, and production projects. Build relationships with sponsors, developers, lenders, investors, advisors, and stakeholders; oversee due diligence and pricing; present credit recommendations; mentor lending teams; and help establish project finance capabilities, underwriting standards, and market strategy.

Supports complex project finance transactions for Canadian agriculture and food assets. Responsibilities include developing financial models, conducting due diligence, assessing risks, preparing underwriting and credit materials, supporting transaction structuring and execution, coordinating advisors, and monitoring portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and early warning indicators. The role requires strong project finance expertise, financial modeling, credit analysis, portfolio management, and bilingual English-French communication skills.

Support complex project finance transactions for Canadian agri-food processing, manufacturing, and production assets.
