The Senior Growth Platform Engineer will design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, and growth infrastructure to enhance experimentation and targeting capabilities for retailers.

Own and maintain Kotlin-based backend services for Faire's Insider membership program. Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Design to prototype and productionize ML-driven features, run experiments and analytics to measure performance, optimize service design and performance, reinforce membership benefits across customer surfaces, and mentor engineers on architecture and best practices.

Lead the Compass agent product as the technical and science owner: design and ship agentic/LLM-powered features end-to-end, set evaluation and experiment frameworks, build data-driven models and tooling, and collaborate across backend, data, and frontend to raise agent quality and enable safe action-taking behaviors.
