The role evaluates safety systems using HAZOP, SIL, and LOPA, supervises inspection and testing, reviews contractor deliverables, and ensures compliance with ISA, IEC, NEC, project specifications, and applicable codes.

Design process equipment (vessels, tanks, exchangers, towers, ducting), develop 3D/2D models and fabrication drawings, prepare BOMs and specifications, review vendor drawings, support P&IDs, construction, QA/QC and field installation, coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and clients, and manage multiple project deliverables within budgeted hours.

Monitor and administer MTO/municipal construction contracts, review contractor submittals, negotiate change orders and claims, perform site inspections, ensure compliance with OPSS/OPSD and OHSA, monitor budgets/payments, coordinate RFIs/shop drawings, and prepare reports for Project Managers and clients.

Design electrical systems for building projects, produce schematics, floor plans, equipment layouts and calculations. Coordinate meetings, travel, and full proposal lifecycle for the Transportation group. Edit and format proposals and technical documents, prepare submission materials, manage administrative tasks and reception backup, create presentations and maintain boilerplate content and resumes, and support internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality proposal delivery.

Manage electrical engineering projects from initiation to completion, lead and mentor design staff, prepare proposals, ensure engineering quality and risk management, develop and review design documents, specifications, equipment selection, and perform complex electrical system design and value engineering.

Lead CAD design for large-diameter watermain, stormwater, and sanitary sewer systems.
