Conduct terrestrial ecology field investigations, botanical inventories, vegetation and wetland assessments, wildlife and Species at Risk surveys, natural heritage impact assessments, and technical reporting. Apply Ontario ELC and OWES methodologies, interpret GIS and engineering data, support permitting and regulatory consultation, provide construction monitoring, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Coordinate field programs and mentor junior staff while supporting transportation, infrastructure, and development projects across Ontario.

Build and manage relationships among international students, host families, schools, and internal stakeholders. Provide orientations, host training, cultural guidance, student and host support, crisis response, recordkeeping, community-building, and custodianship for local students under 18. The role involves in-person meetings, local travel, occasional evening or weekend support, and independent work in a hybrid environment.
