Responsibilities include certifying designs and procedures, leading projects through construction and commissioning, performing technical analyses, preparing engineering documentation, advising on standards and complex technical matters, and mentoring junior staff. The role collaborates across operations, construction, supply chain, integrity, and risk teams, with limited travel to job sites.

Leads a multidisciplinary gas pipeline engineering organization supporting design, maintenance, operations, projects, and emergency response across Ontario and Quebec. Establishes engineering standards and technical controls, oversees pipeline materials and integrity disciplines, applies risk-based decision-making, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives innovation, safety, reliability, and financial performance. The role also develops engineering talent, partners with stakeholders and regulators, and provides technical oversight for transmission and distribution pipeline facilities.

Leads facilities portfolio strategy, asset lifecycle planning, capital investment prioritization, risk analysis, performance monitoring, and sustainability initiatives across Ontario. Develops funding recommendations, evaluates asset health and financial trends, improves operational reliability and compliance, and collaborates with internal teams, service providers, regulators, consultants, and contractors. The role requires frequent onsite activity, approximately 20% travel, and responsibility for supporting critical initiatives and senior-level deliverables.

Supports the design, analysis, operation, and reliability of natural gas pressure regulating stations. Develops compliant mechanical station designs, provides engineering support for operational issues and emergencies, applies knowledge of pressure regulation, heating, odourization, measurement, and field operations, and collaborates with engineers and stakeholders. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, relevant experience, eligibility for P.Eng. registration in Ontario, knowledge of CSA Z662, occasional travel, and a valid Ontario driver’s license.
