Oversee tax planning, compliance, and complex return review for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Lead client engagements, supervise and develop staff, manage budgets and profitability, support business development and recruiting, and ensure accurate application of tax law. The role requires expertise in hedge fund K-1s, trusts, estates, gifts, charitable entities, and federal, state, and local tax matters.

Conduct federal income tax research and analysis involving partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, accounting methods, digital assets, M&A structuring, and restructuring. Draft tax memos, emails, firm-wide tax alerts, and training materials. Support domestic tax due diligence for M&A transactions while providing consulting services to clients.

Prepare and review financial statements, general ledgers, workpapers, partner capital reports, fee and interest accruals, capital allocations, investor notices, cash reconciliations, and NAV calculations. Support year-end audits and mentor junior staff while serving real estate fund clients. The role requires accounting experience in fund accounting or financial services assurance, with hedge fund, private equity, alternative asset management, public accounting, CPA progress, and Yardi or MRI experience preferred.
