Designs and maintains electronic systems for naval machinery and military systems. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, circuit and PCB design, project planning, cost estimation, troubleshooting, qualification testing, technical reporting, safety and regulatory compliance, and production support. The engineer collaborates with mechanical, software, manufacturing, testing, customer support, and project management teams, and may support occasional onboard naval vessel field-service activities.

Supervise quality control for shot peening and NDT processes, monitor inspections, manage calibration, generate non-conformance reports, perform internal audits, track training records, and support process/part development to meet aerospace standards.

Sets up and operates manual machining equipment to manufacture and repair metal parts, tools, and machines. Interprets blueprints and drawings, performs mathematical and geometrical calculations, works with aluminum and alloy steels, maintains required tolerances and quality standards, performs preventative maintenance, identifies tooling needs, and follows workplace safety procedures. The role may also assist with machine repairs and requires extensive manual lathe experience plus the ability to program graphical machine interfaces.

Manage small to mid-sized production projects, develop and maintain project plans and timelines, liaise between engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain, monitor production KPIs, conduct project reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Lead Sales and Business Development for defense markets, owning capture management, strategic planning, proposals, pricing, competitive intelligence, and executive customer engagement. Build and mentor cross-functional pursuit teams, develop multi-year opportunity pipelines and market entry strategies, and drive commercial negotiations and forecasting to achieve bookings, margin and market-share goals.

Lead development and execution of production planning and master scheduling across programs. Oversee capacity planning, inventory optimization, KPI governance, ERP/MRP optimization, production control, forecasting, and continuous improvement to align demand, materials, and manufacturing execution.
